Waiver Watch – Round 4

Once again the regular Wednesday morning madness, with 4 teams involved in some interesting moves.

Avengers looked to continue their great start to season with three strategic moves. Tim Lafai (season 37.00ppg, 1 game) was a free agency pickup for Euan Aitken (season 44.75ppg, 4 games). Lachlan Lewis (career debut) & Sione Mata’utia (career debut) replace injured Matt Moylan (season 51.00ppg, 3 games) & underwhelming John Sutton (season 33.75ppg, 4 games).

Grubs head coach Josh picked up young guns Jayden Okunbor (career debut) & Payne Haas (career debut) off waivers/free agency while releasing the loose as a goose Jimmy “The Jet” Roberts (season 31.00ppg, 2 games) and the injured Dylan Napa (season 10.00, 1 game).

B!tches dropped the injured Aaron Woods (season 48.67ppg, 3 games) and disappointed Elliot Whitehead (season 39.75ppg, 4 games) for young second rower Marata Niukore (career debut) and former Avenger Brian Kelly (career 38.67ppg, 3 games).

Dragons looking to get back on the winning track made three changes bringing in former Rampage Nelson Asofa-Solomona (season 46.00ppg, 1 game), former Piranha Corey Thompson (career 43.67ppg, 15 games) and former Dingo and Grub Jesse Ramien (season 31.00ppg, 2 games). Being shipped out was Jack De Belin (career 54.85ppg, 20 games), Nene MacDonald (season 36.00ppg, 4 games) and Jordan Kahu (season 37.33ppg, 3 games).

Tigers continue their halfback merry-go-round with Cooper Cronk (career debut) returning 18 days after being let go by Coach Ed at the expense of his longtime understudy Brodie Croft (season 27.50ppg, 2 games).While dual position Kurt Capewell (career debut) replaces down on form Robert Jennings (season 24.00ppg, 2 games).

Piranhas needed an injection of fresh blood with the like of Kerrod Holland (career debut), Bronson Xerri (career debut) and Gavin Cooper (career debut) set to make their debuts this weekend pushing out vets 2018 All-FCFL Second Team Michael Gordon (season 38.67ppg, 3 games), Ken Maumalo (season 30.00ppg, 2 games) and 2018 All-FCFL First Team Ryan James (season 40.00ppg, 4 games).
