Jason Taumalolo has put in a subdued performance overnight, yet it could still be enough for the Dingoes to claim the maiden First Crack Grand Final. Villiame Kikau also didn’t play to his potential in a terrible outing from the Panthers against a rejuvenated Warriors outfit. Kikau was suffering from separation issues, as his new wife opted to stay in Melbourne, rather than travel with the Panthers squad to Auckland.

Last night saw the opening game of the final First Crack season, and even Hollywood couldn’t have scripted it any better.
Inaugural 100n80 halfback Daly Cherry-Evans has stuck his neck in and given Dingoes coach Darren Bevan a massive headache, scoring a double and landing a few goals along the way to rack up 114 points. That’s a mammoth 41 points above his projected total.

Dingoes mentor Darren Bevan has remained tight lipped on the availability of Cameron Smith for the First Crack Grand Final that gets underway in less than 48 hours time. At the Grand Final breakfast at the Waterworks Hotel in Botany, Bevan was asked of Smith’s selection. Bevan brushed the question with “one man doesn’t make a team, and I have a more than suitable replacement waiting in the wings”. That player is Cameron McInnes.
Just a day out from the historic first debut of the First Crack Grand Final, coach Nev Clarkson looks to shake up his side who face a hot and cold DAZZLERS DINGOES.
