The B!tches have announced they’ll be without veteran winger Brett Morris for an indefinite period after he sustained a small transverse process fracture in his lumbar spine during the side’s win over the Tigers. Emergency Department – Round 8

Dragons 1015 winger Daniel Tupou is expected to miss around eight weeks with an ankle syndesmosis injury.

Tupou underwent surgery last week after being hurt in a close 16 point loss to Papatoetoe Piranhas.

This setback comes on top of the serious injury already suffered by John Bateman (shoulder – indefinite)

Avengers coach Jo said Boyd Cordner “would’ve passed the HIA protocols” needed to face the Dragons on Thursday but it was decided he needs a to let his body rest “because his body is wrecked, no f*&king good for me then”.

Meanwhile, the Dingoes have confirmed that lock Adam Elliott won’t play again this year due to a shoulder injury that requires surgery.

Tests revealed Elliott needs a shoulder reconstruction after having earlier suffered a dislocation.

On Wednesday, the Dingoes reported Elliott was facing a five-to-six month recovery period, while halfback Mitch Moses’s return from a calf strain has been pushed back.

Grubs five-eighth Cameron Munster could return from an MCL injury against the 2Great4U on Saturday two weeks ahead of schedule.

“I think Eddie[Munster] should be right for this week which is pretty insane,” Josh said on Monday. “He’s one of those guys that just heals up so well. Wink”

In terrible news for the Rosebery Rampage, forward Sia Soliola is facing longer stints on the sideline than initially expected.

Soliola, who suffered a facial fracture in the game, is expected to undergo surgery this week with a time frame of 12-16 weeks placed on his recovery.

Balmain Tigers have confirmed back-rower Luciano Leilua will be ready to face the Arks after being cleared of lasting damage from a head knock.

Tigers fullback Matt Moylan is expected to miss 4-6 weeks after scans showed he suffered a grade-two hamstring tear against the Avengers on Saturday.

The talented No.1 missed 7 games last year with soft-tissue injuries and has played only one match in 2020.

Noah’s Arks winger Brian To’o will miss up to two months after scans revealed he suffered a grade-three syndesmosis injury against the 2Great4U.

Emergency Department – Round 7

Tuesday 30th June 2020

Carnage as Round 7 ended with many injuries occuring, with potential long term injuries at the much maligned Edmound Thornton Reserve .

Dingoes fullback/centre Will Hopoate had surgery on Monday and will be sidelined for 6-8 weeks after he suffered a high-grade syndesmosis injury against arch rivals the Grubs.

Halfback Mitchell Moses left the field with a calf injury during the first half of the weekend’s clash with Grubs and is expected to miss 2-3 weeks.

More bad news was confirmed for Dingoes with Victor Radley suffering a torn ACL against the Grubs. The club said the young firebrand would see a surgeon on Monday and begin rehab and recovery.

Dingoes coach Dazza told FCFL 180 on Monday night that scans had shown scar tissue from a previous injury.

2Great4U firebrand Corey Horsburgh will be sidelined for at least three months after scans confirmed a Lisfranc injury to his foot.

He will under go surgery this week and is likely to be out for the remainder of the 2020 FCFL season, with a late finals appearance a slight chance for the rising middle forward.

Rosebery Joseph Tapine remains a chance to return from a knee injury in what could be a significant boost in the forwards for the struggling Rampage.

Balmain halfback George Williams suffered a broken nose in Saturday’s loss to Papatoetoe but insists he won’t miss any action. The Englishman laughed that he won’t run the ball too often against the Avengers this weekend due to the injury.

The Grubs confirmed on Monday that captain and five-eighth Cameron Munster had suffered a grade two medial tear and would be sidelined for 3-4 weeks.

In some much-needed good news, Dragons prop Matt Lodge should be fit to play the Piranhas on the weekend. He has been cleared of a leg injury after being caught in an awkward position in last week’s game against the Rampage.
